Republican presidential candidate John McCain has selected Sarah Palin as his running mate. Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska and the first woman to ever be a vice presidential candidate for the Republican Party. I have already heard a couple of great comments about her. The basketball team that she played on nicknamed her "Sarah the Baracuda." And when she was in the Miss Alaska beauty contest she won Miss Congeniality and was nicknamed "Fire and Nice."
