the greatest privilege...

Nancy and I have been praying over the last few months "where and what next Lord for your glory?" This morning I received this email (posted below) from Russ Rosser. Needless to say I am humbled and honored beyond words at the opportunity to teach again within a local church body. I am asking for your prayers as Nancy and I start down this next path in our journey to know Him and make Him known.

Here is the email and information that I received from Russ:
Wednesday Nights at Carmel for Single Adults to GROW
Signal Adults are urged to join others in developing one of the most important spiritual disciples in the Christian life - the study of the word of God. Our speaker, Bert B... is an exciting communicator of the life changing Word of God. He was well received by our Single Adults who attended the Fall Retreat of our Singles at Pipestem, West Virginia.
Our desire is that you become a self-feeder of the Word through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things. The goal of growth is godliness of life. Sign up now on the web at www.carmelbaptist.org/grow or by filling in the Grow Registration Form in the back of the GROW booklet. The classes begin Wednesday January 16th through April 2. Time: 6:30-7:30. Come and bring your friends to this class and experience what it is to GROW by becoming more like Christ.
These ten weeks will be very profitable to you as you learn how to study the Bible on a regular basis. Register now. Child care and Children and youth programs are going on simultaneously. Come early and enjoy dinner together before class.
Put these dates on your calendar now.
Russ Rosser,
Associate Pastor of Adult Ministry

Brothers and sisters in Christ would you pray 2Tim. 2:15 for me as I take on this new and exciting opportunity - "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."

Thanks again to the many of you who have prayed, called and encouraged us during these last few months of transition.
