Preaching and Teaching God's Word

Dr. John MacArthur has faithfully taught and preached God's word at Grace Community Church in California for almost 40 years. In the previous blog post I gave an example of the "new" type of preaching and teaching. The new style wants to do away with theology and doctrine. All we need to do is live out Jesus, and bring people into a church environment with exciting music where they can be evangelized in a culturally relevant way. Hmmm...
It may help to hear what John MacArthur thinks about this "new" way to do church and ministry. Therefore I have included an excerpt of a question and answer session recently done at the Cove in Asheville, NC. in which he was asked about the emerging church.
